Torokko Arashiyama Station

Torokko Arashiyama Station is located in the heart of the Arashiyama area, close to the famous bamboo grove path, renowned as a popular filming location. After getting off the romantic train many visitors continue to explore the Arashiyama area by taking a sightseeing rickshaw ride.
The station is also a great spot to take a break after a tiring stroll through Arashiyama. There are about 60 steps up to the platform, so wheelchair users and people with walking sticks are recommended to use the Torokko Saga Station.
