Torokko Saga Station

The brick station building adjacent to Saga-Arashiyama Station on the JR Sagano Line is the Torokko Saga Station. Inside the building, there is a ticket office for the Hozu River cruise as well as a ticket office for the romantic train.
The "19th Century Hall" museum features an exhibit of steam locomotives, pianos and a large organ that played a role in the development of music and art. It is also home to one of the largest railroad dioramas in Japan, the "Diorama Kyoto Japan".

Torokko Arashiyama Station

Torokko Arashiyama Station is located in the heart of the Arashiyama area, close to the famous bamboo grove path, renowned as a popular filming location. After getting off the romantic train many visitors continue to explore the Arashiyama area by taking a sightseeing rickshaw ride.
The station is also a great spot to take a break after a tiring stroll through Arashiyama. There are about 60 steps up to the platform, so wheelchair users and people with walking sticks are recommended to use the Torokko Saga Station.

Torokko Arashiyama Station

Torokko Hozukyo Station

Across the suspension bridge over the Hozu River is the Torokko Hozukyo Station, with a host of Tanuki raccoon dog statues welcoming its visitors. This area is also famous for its beautiful scenery and fresh air, making it a perfect spot for hiking. Countless hikers visit the area during most seasons, attracted by the cherry blossoms, fresh greenery, and autumn foliage.
Torokko Hozukyo is an unmanned station. It is located in a ravine with multiple obstacles leading to the platform including stairs and a suspension bridge. Toilets are Japanese squatting style and require passengers to cross the stairs on the bridge over the platform.

Torokko Kameoka Station

Kameoka City flourished as the castle town of Kameyama Castle ruled by Mitsuhide Akechi. Nowadays it is a popular tourist destination with many historic sites, including the Hozu River rafting and Yunohana hot spring village.
Torokko Kameoka Station is a convenient base for enjoying local sightseeing activities such as riding the sightseeing horse carriage or rafting on the Hozu River, both conveniently accessible directly from the station. There is also a parking lot in front of the station for the exclusive use by our passengers for your leisure and convenience.
